My posting situation here (analysis)

What I have done to contribute to the forum

Started threads on MMA and cagefighting in the main forum
Started threads in the off-topic forum
Traded advice with other ultimate fighters in the training forums
Gave positive rep points to several posters
Refrained from fighter bashing, posting porn and other infractions

What I have received in return

Negative rep points to several posters
Accusations of being a troll, a gimmick or a flaming faggo*
Been put on ignore with no explanation of why
Been made to feel as if I'm too stupid to post

I know, who cares about one poster like Fullerene? Well, there are plenty of other posters who are just like me, or maybe they are kind of like me in some ways but different in some ways, or maybe they are not that much like me at all. But, whatever the case may be, this is probably not the best way to treat posters on a slow forum.

I know this thread may touch some raw nerves, but it shouldn't. 90% of the people turned off by a product will not take the time and/or effort to let the company responsible know about it. The 10% that do are the ones who really care--the ones you want to pay attention to.

Actually that 10% thing might have confused my original point too much. You can ignore this thread and I'll start another one that addresses the issues at hand more directly.

And I don't want to just be identifying problems, I would like Sheikh and the rest of the staff to use me as a tool to help solve problems as well.
