Default Training Logs

Just wondering if you guys planned to make a Training Log section or not. I hate to say it, but that was one of the very few good things about Sherdog.

They're a pretty good way to keep track of progress, and help n00bs learn.

aaaaah, an S&P regular

I do train, but never thought a log worthwhile

Damn, i hated Sherdog'd S&P though, it felt like a clique and was corrupt as hell

Was banned just for saying "muscle pump"

Yeah, they were quite the Douche Bags. But there are quite a few on there who know what they're talkin' about. You just gotta learn to filter out the Tools.

They have this seething jealousy and hate of any and all things related to bodybuilding, and aesthetic muscle development and ripped abs.

They go all anal whenever you mention "ripped", "curls", or "muscles"

lmao, they are the gayest sub-forum of all Sherdog !

That said, Training logs is a good idea.

I doubt there are many here that do more than light fitness

But in that sense I kinda agree, those type of lifts do next to nothing for you other than looks, and getting ass. I don't have anything against them, and wouldn't attack anyone for doing them... but being a fighter myself, I need to worry about actual strength rather than 22's, y0!

Most of them are fat virgins who wouldn't get laid anyways. So "show" muscles wouldn't mean anything to them.

As time goes on, the forum will grow. More and more users will start following suit. Well, atleast those who are serious about it. Just need to get a few going to set an example?

Don't get me wrong - I totally understand different people have different objectives, whether powerlifting, general fitness, or aesthic muscle development.

The problem is the userbase and the mods (Urban, Standard, and Lusst)

It feels like a sorority, and a clique.

They flame people even if those people are being polite, just becauset hey don't share their views.

They try to IMPOSE their views on you, and ridicule you if you disagree.

Then their fag mods come in, join in the ridicule, and ban you

It's corrupt as hell in there, it's not free

The people there seem to have a chip on their shoulders and take the internet TOO SERIOUSLY

I view them as extremely abnormal ..... their desire to create their own little secret club with their own culture.

Most S&P posters are pretentious, abrasive, take life too seriously, and have terrible humor.

Never liked those types of people

No I agree 100%. The mods there really piss me off. Especially Foz.

I'm kinda stuck when it comes to weight class. I'm too big for WW, and too small for MW. So I asked a few basic questions about a few isolation exercises just to help tack on any weight I could, and I got dubbed? WTF?

Then 2 weeks after my dubs were removed, I asked about fixing a sticking point I had in my bench. Again, dubs. Just a few days after that, a real life friend of Foz, asked the same exact question that I did and it was all fine and dandy. Their double standards really piss me off.

I can see where a culture of a preference for endurance over size would spring up around a forum like Sher-lose where a lot of computer guys need to convince themselves that being skinny doesn't make them a pussy. (nope, but having never seen the inside of a dojo but shouting from your soapbox on a forum about how lean fighters > built fighters does)

LOL! I know this all to well. I'm not going to drop any names yet, but a certain Sherdog poster (who is very well known) was talkin' shit about how good he was, and how long he's been talkin' MT and shit. Well he came to spar with us, and I wrecked him. So we gave him a lower level fighter and again he was destroyed. After passing him aound to all of us, he ended up having to spar with my wife. Yes, believe it or not, she fucked him up too.

He owes me about 300 bucks. So if I don't see it by the due date, I'm spamming the videos all over here and Sherdog.
