I weigh 195 and today I started with 185 and did 12 reps to warm up (not to failure, and after 20 push ups or so and stretching)...I usually wait 2 minutes between sets also btw. Next I benched 225 12 times, started to fail on that last one. 245 7 times clean and totally gave out on the last rep...then I went down to 135 and did 23 reps-to failure, then 135 again 16 reps to failure...then I moved on to cable flys....this may seem like a weird way to work out, but I mix it up a lot in the gym and believe it works best to keep my muscles confused and adding strength and size in the quickest way possible.
