Wearing a sauna suit to work
I work in an office and I want to lose weight--like a lot of weight, really fast. Has anyone else been in this situation and tried to achieve weight loss by wearing a sauna/sweat suit under their clothes? My questions/concersns are: - How easy is the suit to conceal? Is their certain business-casual apparel that is better or worse?
- What are some stock excuses for the unnatural level of perspiration?
- How much weight can I lose a day?

A suit would easily conceal it. A short sleeved shirt less so.

I don't think you'll need any excuses. (See post below)

Assuming the office is air conditioned and you sit behind a desk probably none unless your job description entails running around like a crazy person.

Any weight that would be lost would immediately be put back on the second you attempted to rehydrate. I hope this helps.

Not only that, but have you ever wore one of them suits? That would be pretty disgusting to sit around in one of them 8 hours a day.

If you pushed your posting speed a little bit don't you think you could get your heart rate up enough to perspire?

Losing a lot of water weight is not good for the brain.
Seeing as you work at an office, I advice against it.

Let's say I lost 10 pounds and I rehydrated by drinking one 16 oz bottle of Dasani, would I be at: - The same weight I started at
- 9 pounds less than the weight I started at
- 10 pounds less than the weight I started at

I think I could. Sometimes I begin perspiring even when I'm not wearing a sauna suit.

You can fart liberally in one of those suits and no one will ever smell it. That might be reason enough to give it a try.

Is this a serious question or are you quizzing/trolling us?
A 16 oz bottle of water weights what? Less than a pound? That is how much you would gain back.
lol at this whole fucking thread. Why the hell do you want to drop ten pounds while at work? Just get your lazy ass to the gym and put the suit on. Do some light running or use the eliptical machine. Also take some natural laxitives the day before you need to lose this weight. You can drop up to five pounds by laying a few good bricks.
I know whats going on here....Did you sign up for one of those "Lighten up" office challenges? The person that loses the most weight wins a prize? You were too lazy to work out over the last 6 weeks so you want to sweat it out the night before dont you? I demand an answer on this.

OK, guys, good question.
I want to lose a lot of weight, like 50 pounds, and I want to do it fast.
I know through traditional dieting and exercise you can lose like 2 pounds a week. So after one month you would have lost like 8 or 9 pounds. Now if I sweat out 10 pounds by wearing a sauna suit to work once a week (every day would be too much) and drink back 1 pound of water afterwards then I think I would lose an additional 9 pounds that week (still waiting for confirmation from 5150).
So 2 pounds per week (tradtional diet and exercise) + 9 pounds per week (infrequent weight cutting) would give me 11 pounds per week, or almost 50 pounds in one month. Those are the kind of results I"m looking for and I'm willing to sweat and suffer as much as it takes to reach them!

Dude, it doesn't matter if you lose the water AT ALL. Eventually you will fuck your body up and dehydrate, or you will be smart and drink water and gain it all back quite fast.
You wont look any different by sweating, besides maybe pale and like you have cancer.
No fat will be gone, your shape is still the same. So why do you want to lose 50lbs of water weight if you are going to gain it back? I can't grasp your concept at all.
Plus if you exercise and don't drink water. you are really going to fuck your head up dude.
