He said he just started muay thai, Dip Shit. Obviously his technique is going to be bad considering he is a beginner. Therefor he wants to strengthen his wrists to help himself out until he can refine his technique, so yeah this topic has everything to do with strengthening his wrists.

I was about to ask you that same question. So I'm going to spell it out real simple for you, ok?
1) No amount of wrist work outs will solve this problem.
2) Only proper technique will correct it.
He can do them till he's blue in the face, and it will not mean anything untill he corrects his technique.
Was that clear enough? If you read my post on the last page, the article told him exactly what to do in the mean time.

Haha wow iv created a monster..to clear the issue up i wasnt sure if it was to do with technique wrapping or strength but i assumed some aspects of the three would solve the problem...as suggested i think i do need to just slowly perfect the technique with repitition and what not,i also think that i might look at strengthening my wrists using weights,as much for myself as for the sport..thanks for the advice guys it was all useful

Do pull ups and dips. Those 2 work outs strengthen ligaments which connect wrist to forearm.
But yes, using the propper technique when hitting the heavy bag is essential.

Okay as iv been training more iv noticed that it seems to be mostly with hooks that my wrist struggles..this make a difference?? is it technical?? the rest of my punches seem to be getting alot better and i rarely feel anything dodgy when throwing a strait, am i maybe throwing hooks badly..
