I wouldn't bother with vitamins if you're sticking to the meal plan. Taking in too many fat soluble vitamins can cause far more harm than good. Take vitamin d for example (I know you can take more than the daily recommended amount).
Your body can produce up to 10,000 IU of vitamin d a day from sunlight alone (if you live south of the 30th. You get less the further you move away from the equator). That's not counting stuff like milk (contains 200% of your daily vit D per 1 litre) or eggs.
Same thing goes for stuff like vitamin A and Calcium too. 1 litre of milk is 100% of your daily intake of calcium and 40% of your vitamin A. So if you're eating things like cheese and yogurt too, you're already well over your limit. You don't piss away fat soluble vitamins (A, D, Calcium etc etc) like you do water soluble (B, C etc etc). You body can store them for up to 2 years.
P.S. Fuck off, Shake.

The FDA doesn't know shit about recommended daily allowances, especially Vitamin D.
All bogus data .
They put a value of 400 IU's as recommended daily instake when every major science journal and serious study shows that number to be pulled out of thin air - no one knows who much is really needed or can provide the best benefits, but everyone agrees 400 IU's is ridiculously low.
At least 2,000 IU's is recommended for adults, and to get the full benefits 5,000 IU's and above in Vit D supplements is recommended for it's major benefits., particularly if you don't get enough sun or in winter.

Yes, I know. Which is why I said: "I know you can take more" in my post above. But if you're eating the foods I listed, and are not a vampire, you're already at more than 3 times THE NEW daily intake level. They say your tolerable UL is around 2000IU's a day (the most they say you can take). I use that as the bare minimum. If you drink milk, eat eggs, tuna, Raisin Bran, get 15 minutes of sun 3 times a week etc etc... you're going to hold steady in and around the 6000 to 8000 IU a day average. That's more than enough.
People can hold vitamin D in their system for a very long time. Most times, people get enough in the summer to last them the entire winter. Even if not, there's still more than enough food sources that contain high amounts. Still no need for a vitamin.
Other vitamins like vitamin A, you DO NOT want to go over the limit. effects set in really fast (I know from first hand experince). Vitamin D also helps your body absorb calcium. So the more vitamin d you have, the more calcium your body will feed into your system. If you take too much calcium, your body will keep taking it in (to a toxic level) and will put a ton of stress on your kidneys. NOT a problem someone with jblade's weight can deal with.

UPDATE
out of my daily 1hr cardio im up to jogging about 20 minutes of it, mostly interval stuff the walking was getting played out and i felt i was burning enough calories, so im doing real good with that.
against eternals advice ive been strength training too, nothing too hard right now, just major muscle groups, shit after doing 1 set of hamstring curls last week i couldnt walk for 4 days, but yeah just basic excercises, chest, shoulders, back, arms and legs. no isolation exercises yet.
im feeling alot better then when i first posted this thread, im down to 355lbs, and am seeing a noticeable weight loss each week, (on the scale) ive gone down from a 54' waist to a 50' waist. so thats more motivation, other people have noticed my weight loss so again another motivating factor.
overall im on the right track, peace!

That's good, jblade. Congrats.
Isolations won't do you any good. They're ment to focus on certain muscles. So even once you're at your goal weight, focus on compounds.

Good to hear you're still with it Jblade. Keep up the good work, and if you're happy with the results you're getting then I'm happy for you!

I was wondering how i was going to improve my cardio. It's so easy to say fuck it and get off the treadmill. I'm definately going to give this a try!

Actually I'm at 282lbs, with a goal weight of around 220lbs by the end of December.
I have put on alot of muscle and have gained so much strength and steadily lose fat all while in caloric defecit.
