Bit Torrent Is Bad Ass! Thanks Mediumpimpin
Mediumpimpin just showed me how to use torrents yesterday and this shit is awesome! I know I'm a noob so save the comments.....
I was downloading the shows and then hooking my laptop up to my big screen with a monitor cable. That kind of sucked because I had to get the computer speakers from my desktop out of the computer room and hook them in to my laptop just to hear sound.
I got to thinking and figured out a different way to do it that is fucking great. I wish I had known about this long ago. I bought a 2 gig thumb drive and everything I download, I transfer to the thumb drive and then I can just plug the thumb drive into my Xbox 360 and play it full screen with my 5.1 surround and with a remote to pause and shit. This is awesome! I've already downloaded all the sons of anarchy episodes and District 9 and tropic thunder.
Fuck, technology is wonderful!

download a free program called bit torrent, then go to a website called isohunt and search for whatever tv show or movie or program you want, then download it. You can download movies and tv shows pretty quick and then watch them on your computer or tv if you have a way to get it there.

thats pretty damn awesome right there. i've known about ovguide for awhile and you can find pretty much anything on that site.
downloading some movies would be nice to be able to do. alas i dont have a PS3 nor an xbox360.
1 quick question. is the quality of these good?

Quality is awesome. You can get hd torrents but the files are pretty large. Mostly what I've downloaded are dvd quality. Some of the movies that are still out in theaters are taped with a camcorder in the theater. But if you wait until it is out on dvd, it is a much better quality.

Cool man. I play too and write my own music.
I had a little 8 track digital recorder with a cd burner built in but I think I would like the pc studios much better.
I think I'll download those programs. I've heard that n-track studio is a really good computer based recorder. Do you know anything about it?

If you have a newer tv, they usually have a pc monitor jack in the back. If your does, you can hook your computer right up to your tv and watch it on the tv. Kind of a pain in the ass though cause you have to hook speakers up for sound to the pc.

nice. i will give it a go then. i've seen a camcorder movie and it pissed me off, that was my main concern. i'll just avoid the new ones.
another question, can i find any movie that comes to mind. whats the selection like?
also, i do have a nice new HD flatscreen so i'll check for the computer jack. nice heads up.

The best free multitrack is called Kristal Audio. It has great support for VST
