Default How Much Weight Do You Give An "Interim" Belt?

Mir/Lesnar
Varner/Cerrone
Ortiz/Couture (remember that?)

Every fighter seems to hate this system. They all bitch about it saying "I'm the REAL champ, he's just a paper champ".

My question is why give out interim belts anyway? Are they completely neccessary?

How much weight do you all give an interim belt?

to me it just makes it more clear cut who the #1 contender is

EDIT: it's also used to put noob butts in seats cuz they win a big shiny belt afterwards

^^^exactly. Why even have fighters contend for a belt that is not a belt then?
