What kind of training do you do?
I've been studying BJJ for a little over 3 years and have been doing Muay Thai for about 2 years. Before that, I trained at an MMA gym in NJ called "Team Endgame" with Eddy Rolon (a local competitor), but it was mostly brawlers and not much technique.
I train jits about 3x per week and box 2x. Please introduce yourselves here and tell us what kind of training background you come from.

I'm a BJJ whitebelt training under Pete "The Greek" Letsos in Chicago. I try to train 3 days a week, but my old back prefers that I only train 2 days/week.
I'd like to train Muay Thai in the future, but I'm sticking with the BJJ for now. If I was a younger fella, I'd definitely do both.

i only train both because they teach both. i'm not going to continue at my current school after september--i feel it's too overpriced, and i'm kind of sick of paying that much. so i'm looking around now for a new place.

fantastic niven! if you're ever in the nyc area, you should hang out with me. how is mmaa? do you actually ever get to train with sean and brock or do they close the gym for their training?
man, i was disappointed in sherk big time during his last fight.

If Bj is not in the LW division i think sherk would own it . An in shape BJ is the baddest man on the planet . IMO .
back to our backgrounds
wrestled in high school and freestyle .
I boxed (smokers) on and off from 94 to 2004 . i could never leave the local gyms where i lived at the time till i got my first concussion .no , not KOd .
now i just had the Carpral Tunnel surgery in my right hand and both shoulders have calcium buildup. i do TRY and practice muay thai kicks .but im 36 now and i have to be carefull not to break anything else on my body .
i love all "combat" sports . i even like watching lions and hyenas fight . I think its in a man's nature .

What is a calcium buildup ?
I would imagine having more calcium and stronger bones a good thing !

will do man
i have rolled with sean its like rolling with a giant fast brick you cant do anything with him.
i doint roll with brock cause i am too small 5'8 155
but seeing him in person is just crazy he is like a huge albino gorrila with massive swinging arms and a chest like a bull. a serious freak off nature
it was sweet when they filmed the all access on brock because rachelle leia was there and irl she is seriously smoking hot. (fwap fwap)
kob have you ever trained at renzos gym?? thats where i trained last time i was in nyc.

I've been training bjj for seven months. I've got a krotty black belt and I've done some muay thai, boxing and high school wrestling.
