SO my post was pretty worthless.
Look at the rules for how the league is gonna be set up... To make it easier time-management wise, it's gonna be head-to-head (like football) so you only have to make roster changes once a week.

Rethink, jarwillie! we need one more person to do this right!!!

BTW- anybody else for time/date requests to draft??? As it stands, it is looking like evening time back east / afternoon in cali.... probably around 4-5pm on a wendesday or something.....

I'm trying to get a buddy of mine to join up, but I think that his internet inconsistency would make it impossible.

iight so now that it's taken care of, lets make some suggestions for those that haven't done it before, or aren't sure, my top picks, if i get an early one

1. Jose Reyes
2. Hanley Rameriez
3. Alex Rodriguez(debatable because of the injury)
4. Albert Pujols
5. David Wright

I've got Hanley above Reyes (Reyes potential for inconsistency still scares me), the rest look good tho

Yeah, I'd probably have Hanley first if I wasn't a Mets fan. At least I know where I'm biased!

Reyes scores more runs than Hanley, Reyes is a much better fielder and has a better impact on his team

but it's about 60& bias

All true statements, but we're talking fantasy rankings.... fielding and impact on team count for shit, its just stats. Between the two, if I were starting a team from scratch, tho, I'd take Reyes in a damn hartbeat!

Ramirez is generally going first overall in fantasy pools, but I'll still take Reyes if I get the chance.

me too, i think Reyes is gonna have his best season considering how much he's been working one on one with Jerry Manuel and the take it's had on his attitude
