I buy whatever i think looks cool while cruising the mall. I also like to go to the local thrift shop and pick up some vintage tee's.
However, the thrift shop has been spammed lately with shitty company shirts, nothing no good original or throw back material.

theres a outlet mall in aurora,Il (where the awesome waynes world takes place) they have DKNY,armani exchange and other huge brands at discounted prices....there all real too since the companies themselves run them...I think theres a lucky brand store there too....good stuff

I bought a saku T-shirt for stupid money and wear it too damn much. I however buy most of my clothes from the gypsy girls that make a living from shoplifting (no joke) as they are cheap, brand new and a little bit naughty.

Ebay, well your Ebay as I'm in the uk. If you watch for them they come around every now and again, there was one on there about 6 months ago but it was XXL.
