Check this movie out if you can find it. Pretty sure it isn't out on DVD yet.
As one person follows everything about evolution. There is scientists studying only intelligent design. So there is two sides to every story. Check both of it out.
For me, I am staying out of this one. You can never argue science vs faith. We just find out when we die.
But there is scientists who believe they can prove intelligent design is real. Just remember these scientists are being fired and kicked out of schools and other private groups for squashing and disproving evolution theories.

It is not an accident at all. Over the past X billion number of years evolution has produced far more failures and dead ends than success. It's a simple matter of statistical probability, if you keep trying new concepts eventually you will come up with something that works.
There was a documentary a few years back hosted by a cosmologist named Martin Reese titled What we still don't know about the universe. that gives a pretty clear de******ion in lamens terms about how the course of evolution throught the eons is perfectly reasonable.
i still think that even if the statistical probablity is reasonable, you can see that consciousness itself is evolving. as human beings communicating on this internet forum.....take a step back and think about how profound it is that we're communicating ideas, contemplating the orgins of the universe, as conscious beings. when 5 billion years ago there was nothing but cosmic dust. it blows my mind when i think about it.

Of course it was to you. If it doesn't fit you. You get angry or throw negativity to it. Everything is always good when its a few guys agreeing and poking and prodding at something. But when something comes up that differs there is offense taken.

Seriously, I'll go through this, collect my thoughts, and blast the naysayers with a double-barrel shotgun of God and Faith.
God exists. I think that for one to say much more than that is usually to claim to know too much. Neither do I care for complicated or highly developed theologies. I think that when some people pretend to know so much about who or what God really is, that they turn a lot of people off on the concept of God entirely. And the more you say about God, the more difficult it is to defend your conception of God, both to others and to yourself.
The biggest challenge to belief in God, is the existence of suffering or evil. Each individual who believes in God must confront this fact and deal with it at one time or another. I wrestle with it all of the time. Perhaps most believers are the same. Or maybe they just try not to think about it. In a way, trying not to think about it is also a way of wrestling with the problem of evil.
a lot of teachings tell us that evil in the world is a manifestation of evil in ourselves--the outcome of our selfish fears and desires as both a society and individuals. I believe it's the choices we make---whether to be strong and purify our motives or blindly give in to our fears and selfish desires---that create evil or good in the world.
in the end, i think the stresses created by the problems we created (environment, wars, etc) are actually the stresses we need to evolve our consciousness.....to come together to find a solution. there's no evolution without stress, after all.

I have no problem considering different points of view as long as they are supported by evidence. I even watched that entire vid after they completely sunk their position in the first 30-40 seconds. I mean seriously, mud and lightening, nobody with an ounce of intelligence would oversimplify the spark of life in such rediculous terms.
