H1N1 flu vaccinations?

are any of you going to be getting it?

What is your thoughts on this topic?

I ask because I work in the largest hospital in my province and the likelihood of being exposed to it should it become real terrible is almost certain. I am undecided at this point in time if I should get it or wether I should vaccinate my children.

Just looking for some input from some of the more knowledgable posters on this site.

Did you get the vaccine ? My wife had same concerns as you. I didn't want it, and she opted not to get it either. So far so good.

I've been trying to catch Swine Flu for weeks but all I got was mono.

You should vaccinate your kids sparks, especially with the seisure issue. But my sisters kids are mostly healthy and all had h1n1 and nothing bad happened. I had it and was sick for a week. Not a real big deal. As long as you dont have major health problems ie asthma or aids you will be ok. Its just a fucking cold.

H1N1 is just the marketing name for this years seasonal flu. It's no big deal, just like the bird flu/SARS.
If you are scared, go ahead and get it. The people who I know who've had it didnt have the vaccine, and described it as no worse than a regular flu.

Pft. Fuck no. Swine Flu is a fucking scare tactic. A joke for weak-minded, easily scared Americans. I'm more worried about falling down my fucking stairs then I am about the Swine Flu.

Never had one, never will get one.

My immune system is beast enough to stop any infection in less than 2 days. When i had mono it was only for a week and a half, no joke.

No, I am not getting the vaccine.
Not for any other reason but - I have never gotten the regular flu vaccine so - I am not getting this one, either.

I wonder if it's what it's cracked up to be.
I mean - do we really know the truth about what's going on?and - do we trust this new vaccine? - it was put together rather quickly.
