USA Hockey beats Canada
Yes it only in the seeding round but this is still very huge, the US now gets a bye in the tourney and Canada has to play Germany and Russia if they get that far, the US schedule is not nearly as hard. first time since 1960 the US has beaten Canada.

Team Canada has not looked to sharp in these games. They just barely made it past the swiss and then they lost to the US. I will honestly be shocked if they even get a medal at this point.
They really need to bench Broduer next game.

Playoff NHL and olympic hockey are actually fucking awesome, they play their asses off, plus when you got a team as historic as the bruins to root for its easier to be a hockey fan.

I would have thought being a bruins fan would have made it harder to be a hockey fan. The Bruins are like the american version of the leafs. Constant underacheivers.

truth, im a fan but i dont put too much stock into them, they finally beat the habs in the playoffs last year which was nice, altho after that they lost to another team they shouldnt have, but hey, dont worry about sports fans in boston, we had in the past 10 years more championships than most cities do in 50
