Ghostbusters: The Video Game.
Is badass in my eyes. Getting mixed reviews so far, but definately satisfies any fan of the films.

Yeah I had to get it early... Scored me the T-Shirt.
Can't help it.. Something I've been into for over 20 years now. I didn't expect it to be the most badass game, but I enjoy it. The running setup is a lot like Gears.

If you think this game is good, describe it for me.
I'm thinking of getting it.
Score it out of 10

I'd say a 7... Only because of the length of the game.
All around if you grew up on Ghostbusters you'll enjoy it. I'd wait for it to drop in price though.
Had I of known that it suffered from the Fable flu I would of done the same.

I absolutely hated Ghostbusters on the NES. Then they came out with Ghost Buster II and it looked promising. Yet I fucking hated that game too.
I am a huge fan of Ghostbusters like Meatwad is. I want to pick this game up just because it is the ghostbusters.

On flaw that someone mentioned online that I agree with is the enemies.
You have normal enemies plus ghosts you trap. They should of cut down a lil on the enemy count.. Not that it's a big deal, but it's Ghostbusters damnit.

I hear it takes about 8 hours, but there is hidden artifacts and stuff that extends the gameplay.
From the sound of it, you can invest some time into the online mode. Which is always unlimited hours.

If you know what to do it takes a lil over 5-6 hours. Yeah online is where it will pay off.
The control scheme is pretty good too. Kinda reminds me of Gears, with the run setup and how the view is when you run, vent(reload), and the artifacts instead of gears.

my son had been bugging me to get this game for him for a while. He played the demo on xbox.
While I rented it for him on our nintendo wii and we played for almost 4 hours straight after starting it.
I love the game its great fun. It is what it is and it is lots of fun.
throwing the traps with the wii nunchuk is cool and using the remote as my zapper is awesome.
