Im not trolling at all right now, DHBK, I promise you that. I enjoy watching Machida and Anderson WAY more. They seem like much better strikers, much more precise, elusive, and versatile. K-1 being used as the striking standard all these years is propaganda. They arent the best strikers in the world.

Its because with anderson and machida, they train ALL striking arts and they make up their OWN SHIT, their OWN moves. In K-1, everything is conservative, you are only trained ONE WAY. Every fighter in K-1 just sits back, throws kicks and straight punches. None of them slip or do any really fancy footwork. They just block and continue the kick match.
With anderson and machida, they trip you, flying knee you, standing elbow, leg sweeps, and they do it all very quickly and with precision.

I agree. I think K1 strikers are overrated, especially when you see guys like Badr just swinging wildly. Anderson or Machida going over to K1 could revitalize the sport, and that's why guys like Hug, Kaman, and Dekkers are such highly respected kickboxers. They all incorporated beautiful combination's into their striking game and they did it with precision, just like Anderson and Machida do in MMA.

Does have a great chin and heavy hands but he never deserved his title shot. Never beat anyone great, never will.

Badr does have balls stepping up to take on much bigger guys, there is no denying that....I just hate his persona and his sportsmanship, however, I'll give it to him last night, he did do kickboxing proud. Came out, did his thing, destroyed a vet, and won a title.
