I hate to burst everyone's bubble on Dida... but the guy really isn't that great. I've sparred with him more than a few times, and he wasn't as much better than me that I thought.
Don't use the Buakaw to guage his skill either, that was Buakaw's cocky attitude that made the fight go the way it did. Not Dida's skill.
Call it a fail all you like. But anyone can go spar with him anytime they want. He teaches in TO. Plus he does seminars all over Canada. I'm not special because I got to.
I just love fighting fighters that are better than me, it's how you get better. He wasn't as much better than he should be.
The only real tool he has is over hands, you can easily counter them with jabs and straight rights though. I got him so frustrated, that he wouldn't even spar. He just kept dumping me.
That kid gets tagged alot. He likes to go in there and brawl, exposing his chin. BJ penn would fuck that kid up.

Dida can fucking brawl though. He almost killed the guy in your av.
He also dropped Eddie Alvarez a few times. Dida isnt the most technical but his strikes are brutal.
