Nog was just finished for the first time EVER, even Fedor didnt finish him. No matter what, Dana will always have this on Fedor. Afflictoin is over, the threat of Fedor is done. Fedor hasnt beat Brock or Mir, so now Dana can claim "We have the best HW" Which will be Lesnar after he smashes Mir

Fedor fought Tim Sylvia and destroyed him in seconds just a few months later.

Fedor is the best fighter not in the UFC Bar none. That said Dana White nor the UFC's bottom lines are not affected in anyway by his absence. A few cards could draw a little higher maybe with Fedor that's it. So no Fedor is no threat to DW the UFC's market share will grow with or without Fedor.

Fedor will go through Arlovski and Barnett then go back to fighting cans as that's all that's out there for him. He'll fight once or twice a year and people will say he USED to be best P4P...now he doensn't fight anyone so we can't say.

And Fedor will wonder where his career went lol

Nog is also in the twilight of his career -- those fights against Fedor were almost 5 years ago...

We all know Nog has never been the same since coming to UFC. Its a shame but all good things must come to an end.

Affliction can no longer use the fact that Fedor beat Nog as a reason to promote Fedor. Because now Mir has done it as well. Fedor is still the best, but promoting him as such will no longer be as effortless.

Affliction really needs to go all out, guns blazing in 2009.

Up the promotion, have at least 3 big events, have Barnett fight some elites, have Gina fight Cyborg (Tom, you fucking retard, there's huge money in this!!!!).

Affliction hasn't used Nog to boost Fedor, how could they? Nog has never had anything on Fedor. Fedor still has his mystique, which makes him still more profitable than Mir, and right now Chestnar. Fedor's now in the position to come into the UFC and show who the real top HW is by trying to smash Mir (which he would) and Chestnar (which I think he would right now)

Fedor was never a THREAT to the UFC in the first place.

UFC was NEVER a threat to Fedor.
