Horrible contracts. They want fighters to sign lifetime deals? Man I don't blame Fedor anymore. Horrible horrible contracts. I am the type of person who hates contracts too. I hate thinking far ahead, you never know what will happen. I am stuck in a 2 year GYM contract right now and im pissed. So I dont blame anyone who refuses to sign such blasphemy contracts.

I really don't see the outrage in all this. It is unfortunate but the UFC basically gave Fitch the medium to make his star shine. Dana knows he's not the most exciting fighter, he knows few are tuning in because Fitch is fighting and he still gave him the title shot. He didn't have to, truly didn't have to (see Karo) yet he did. Fitch should be grateful for his time in the UFC. Grateful enough to sign that contract? I don't know. The game will probably be HUGE for the UFC and Zuffa but the contract for life? It's only for video games right? Pffft...big deal.

The UFC was dumb for demanding him to sign a lifetime contract. For once, can you call UFC the bad guy? If you read the whole story, Dana called AKA. Told them "Do me this favor, sign this contract". AKA looked it over ans said no of course, because it was ridiculous. So Dana said "Sign it now or be kicked out of the UFC". Now all of AKA is banned because they refused to suck Danas dick like Chuck liddell.

The "lifetime contract" involved his likeness for the videogame only. It is a fairly common practice for leagues and companies to do this so they aren't getting hauled to court in 30 years about some bullshit royalties. It had nothing to do with his fight contract which is certainly not a lifetime contract.

I know. But a LIFETIME. What if Fitch were to go to another org in the future and make a name for himself? They wouldnt be able to use Fitch in their own video game, because UFC would have control over him for a LIFETIME. Plus Fitch doesnt even get paid for having his character in the game. Its a stupid deal, WAR fitch for not signing it. Why couldnt it be like a 10 year deal? I mean in 20 years is Dana really gonna need fitch in a game?
