I knew he'd be slow, but it seemed like his movement was cut in half yet again, when comparing it to when he fought Sylvia

Holmes beat Ali, sure. But he did so when Ali was 38 and close to retirement, while Frazier beat him while he was still a man in his prime.

Let me put it like this, if someone said Holmes was gonna beat a PRIME Ali (instead of an old one), would you take him seriously?
You are forgetting too, Nog did have an injury. It's just the thing to save Pride fighter's faces, when they lose to immediately declare them over the hill. And I can't believe that Cro Cop, who has looked far worse in all his UFC fights than Nog, who at least got the interim heavyweight title, still is considered a top guy by some.

And honestly, who's to say what would have happened with a prime Ali and Holmes? Holmes wasn't exactly a washed up can himself. It's almost impossible and unfair to ask that.

I think Mike Tyson for example, would have beaten Ali in both their primes, and I think he would have killed Lennox Lewis in his prime, but it's impossible to say for sure because there is no way of quantifying what would happen.

Not true at all, but you don't get what im saying

When Mirko lost did I call him over the hill? No

When Wand lost, did I do the same? No

You're generalizing and blind to the obvious clues to Nog's decline

Which I have constantly pointed out to you

His slugishness and loss of headmovement was evident when he fought Sylvia and Herring in the UFC

No injury-recovery is gonna bring back his reflexes, they are gone

Some people say he looked slower becuase he seemed to have gained a little weight

But he was just as heavy when he fought Fabricio Werdum, yet he was still faster than he is now

And please, HOlmes beating Ali in his prime, no way

Tyson was a beast too, but he never had to deal with the same kind of murderers Ali did, so that hypothesis is flawed

You have to take levels of competition in thought and Ali's level was much higher than Tyson's

But im leaving this discussion at this, because we're not getting anywhere
