Just wondering.....does this site have the potential to be as big as Sherdog someday? Or bigger!? Like Camel dog beat down radio, having it's own media at MMA events, interviewing fighters, shit like that.

Ive been banned alot of times for basically posting my opinions etc. I currently have an acc going on that site. And im trolling my brains out! Making their lives hard!

But that isnt what this thread is about. I was asking what your goals are? Do you guys want to make Cameldog big? Like the biggest MMA forum?

Sure- but one "wants" and the nature of forums are different things - we will always be about free expression, and will market and try to get the most users possible and ruin Shitdog's parade.

We cannot predict exactly how big we will become with any certainty - such things usually occur unexpectedly - we will certainly try !

i'm UFC-oriented, used to be a Pride nuthugger when they had the what we perceived to be the world's best talent. when the talent went elsewhere i went with it. what pisses me off about that shit factory of a message board is the number of people who just hate the UFC because it's the UFC, and will look for any reason in the world, including avoiding the fact that they have the talent, to shit on it. they promised the dream matchups, we got them and continue to get them. ISN'T THAT WHAT EVERYBODY WANTED? now everybody (because Dana is the devil) wants the fighter base split to shreds so each can make a Fedor's Wage, because apparently all of them deserve it.

Does anyone think there are golf message boards like that piece of fuck that complain all day about the bums who just pack a lunch and thermos and hit the links day and night like a "humble gym rat" not making 120 mil a year in endorsements like Tiger?

I just hate Dana white and the TUF newbs. Who are basically people who beleive everything Dana says and bash Fedor for no reason, and use shitty arguments that Dana uses. Like anybody outside of the UFC are cans and not ranked, or Fedor is a farce, or Chuck liddell is the best fighter in the world, etc.

Dana wants to own all of MMA, which is retarded. We need to see the best fight often, not be tied up on TUF for months. First Rampage was put on shelf and now NOG is. UFC is becoming a joke. It's still the best right now, but I hope eventually DREAM becomes as big as PRIDE was.

i don't want you to get the wrong idea because if we have nothing else in common, we hate sherdog and that's better than nothing. but the reasons most often cited for "bashing" fedor is that a) he seldom fights, b) when he does, the matchups are silly c) he priced himself out of the UFC, well aware that what he was demanding was 4 times more than Chuck Liddell, who's proven to make them money (what largely determines an employee's worth to a business). and d) he hasn't fought anybody since crocop.

now i'm going to assume (PERHAPS INCORRECTLY), that your logic and thought process is based in "he's shown you nothing in competition to make you say he isn't God in MMA. if anybody deserves it, it's him."

there's a lot of truth in THAT statement. it's also true to say that with all of HIS downtime and the extenuating bullshit and circumstance that happens in it - what happens in the ring diminishes. it's the nature of inactivity in anything. and it's also true to say that among his contemporaries - nobody is making anywhere CLOSE to what he is. Chuck probably makes more from PPVs but if he wasn't fighting on those shows there wouldn't be a spaceship full of dollar bills in orbit around the headquarters that month and he wouldn't have a driveway full of Ferraris and Lambos either. And all of said contemporaries fight 3 times a year and do so against ranked competition - the champions, the REAL contemporaries - fighting THE TOP competition. Including Chuck Liddell. Fedor could've had his higher-than-Chuck base wage. He could've had his PPV%. He could've had Randy Couture who he allegedly wants to fight more than anybody. But it was never enough. With all of that, he wanted something ABOVE AND BEYOND all the other shit he got more than everybody else in the same organization who plays by the same rules - he wanted to be exempt from the exclusive contract.

NOBODY is going to shit away exclusive fighter rights to 200 names of the world's top talent to get one guy - and NOBODY is going to piss off 200 of the same guys to give some free agent who hasn't been tested since August 2005 the farm and everything with it, including a different and preferable set of rules to play by. There's give and take in every relationship and he wanted only to take because he is a DIVA who is drinking his own kool-aid.
