Basically time man. Just took my time never tried to get in a hurry. After I hit a certain point. I just started running on the treadmill, lifting weights, and using a heavy bag.

The only junk I usually put in my body is just beer and sometimes I will eat unhealthy shit. Basically just maintaining a clean diet.

OK I altered my workout once again.

I get on my bike for 5 minutes to loosen up
Do my workout (DAY1 shoulder,chest,bi's, or DAY2 back,tri's, and legs)
get on bike for 60 minutes
abs (crunches, than leg lifts)

all while drinking many cups of green tea through out the day and eating small meals every 3 hours
Also having breakfast around 7am to start my day and eating nothing past 7 pm to end it.

This should help me boost my metabolism, lose some weight, gain some more muscle mass, increase my endurance, and look better.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'll keep you posted on how well it works.

If you can fit a good protein shake right in after you work out. that might help out too.

i wish i had a friend like niven to motivate me so much! You are truly a good brother and now a good friend! i am 213lbs and will be trying hard to become 150 in the 3 months to come! wish me good luck guys! best of luck to anyone on the diet!

Holy shit, thats exactly how i started out, and is still my bread and butter. Treadmill/or highway if its nice, weights and heavy bag. And i cant give up the beer!!! However my diet consists of pretty much nothing all day, maybe a bag of popcorn and at night either a chicken breast or steak and veggies and rice.

There never needs to be a complicated plan. Just need to find the motivation and time.

Damn jarwillie you was a big nagger back in the day!

Im 6ft 172, so i guess i can say im a little skinny. BUT I havent been happy with my physique lately. I seem to have that fat/skinny look. I have flab on me, and i want to get rid of it. I even have a small dose of bitch tits. All I do is eat microwave food and drink 2% milk, sugared tea and koo laid. I know I need to cut down on that shit. But its hard for me. I always crave junk food. One of these days I just need to man up and eat nothing but fruits and veggies while suffering, having all that glorious junk food on my mind.

I just lost 6 pounds from puking all night. haha this shit sucks. I am sicker than a dog.

when i first started training MMA i was 200 pounds, i cut down to 170-175 because that's where i feel most comfortable and it's where i perform best, i walk around 175, depending on how much i eat through out the day, and i cut to 155 usually, i've cut all the way to 145 and lower for certain things, and bulked up on short notice, but i don't really care for bulking up

I have tried all the simple stuff but my ass is still the size of a truck.

My problem is soda. I can't give up soda. I love it. I know it's really bad but I can't help it.

Other than soda I actually eat pretty well and walk about a mile a day.
