Default What Supplements Do You Take?

When i was into weightlifting, i'd take a shit load of supplements and powders like creatine, ECA stacks, beef liver tabs, nitric oxide, steroid precursers and some other shit.

now my goals are endurance, strength, and cardio. the only supplements i take are nutritional yeast, one of nature's most perfect foods, and just a multi vitamin. i'll also use some electrolyte powders when i sweat a lot. clean dieting plays the biggest role for me and i feel great without supplements.

what are some of the supplements you take and why do you take them?

glucosamine is an amazing vitamin to take. I do factory work and I am on my feet 9-10 hours a day. So i take 3 glucosamine pills every morning and it is an all day release. i actually noticed a difference after about 2 weeks.

The only other thing I take is a multivitamin, Cellucor M5, and Whey Protein shakes.

I was taking HMB for awhile, but I noticed no difference whatsoever.

That and if you decided to try Cellucor M5, it is expensive and after this cycle. I think I am done with it. I will look for something cheaper even though the stuff does help a lot.

Whey Protein and Creatine - basic supplements most athletes would use.

Plus I been working really hard to be like Chuck Liddell. So I have been swigging down IcemanRX with Nyquill.

On a serious note, anyone going to try it or have any idea of all they pack into it? Just wonder if it's goings to be a fad with his face on it or a long term supplement that works.

Pre Workout

• Testosterone Booster
• Power and Energy
• Accelerant
• Thermogenesis
• Energy Recovery

Post Workout
• Anti-Catabolic
• Protein Synthesis
• Cell Volumizer
• Stimulate Growth
• Muscle Recovery

This is what it claims but haven't came upon actual ingredients.

i dont know anything about who makes the product, but i think most of those supplements are a rip off.....most of them don't do a damn thing and are nothing more than high-powered marketing schemes. they may do a little bit for you if you're performing at a super elite level and need any extra edge you can get, but for guys like us, i think a proper diet, rest, and short but intense training sessions are 99.9%.

Yeah, and at the end of the day when you are just an average guy doing it for personal benefits like your health and maybe learning a new art/sport. There is no reason to pump your body full of shit that might hurt you when you are older and have calmed down a bit. Plus I still want to have raging boners.

I think that overtraining is the most common mistake that people make in weight training.

I make more progress in strength training at 3-4 times/week than I do at 5-6 times/week. People seem to forget that it is during the rest that the body builds the new muscle.
