Right now I am in between trying to lean up a bit, then bulk then lean again. You can't have both at the same time.

Bulking phase
Protein: 15-20%
Fat: 20-30%
Carbohydrate: 50-60%

Cutting phase
Protein: 20-25%
Fat 15-20%
Carbohydrate 55-60%

Nahh, worst that Glutamine can do is loosen up your shit a little. I don't take any protein shakes, sometimes I wish I did but all my protein comes from food. More expensive and more time consuming but results are better.

Just buy a jug of glutamine, have a scoop with post-workout shake and then with the shake you have before bed.

LOL, reading that would make one think lying down and watching tv and eating chicken breasts will make you sprout muscle ... Captain, you have to train like a cave man, weight lifting and cardio.

I weight lift, do cardio, yoga, swimming, and boxing, so eating that diet is good, but if you don't exercise you're not going anywhere ,,

lol, just had to point it out, it takes discipline to both exercise and eat right - especially when surrounded by fast food and to go culture -- but leading a healthy lifestyle is enjoyable as you said, you feel great and have more energy, not sluggish and lazy with the typical American high-fat diet ,,,

It takes certain types of people who can follow through with it though , which is why the majority of people will either never even try, try it incorrectly, or try and relapse.

It's the kind of thing you should start young, the older you are the harder to adapt ,,

i weigh 168, i haven't been able to train at all because of my leg but i just started going back a little bit, just doing light sparring, my cardio is better than it was because of how much swimming i did while my leg was hurting bad and it really was the only thing i could do, i cut to 155 or 150, some cases 147 for certain tournaments, i carry most of my muscle in my back, core and legs, my arms are small because i found when i bulked up my arms my punches became weaker

the most of weighed pure muscle was 185, and i felt like shit and it showed in my training, that's probably just from the way my body frame is though, i had to do so much more cardio and it still didn't help as much, the most i weigh when not cutting now is about 170-175, 175 is the highest i'll keep myself at though, i can probably cut to 155 from 180, but i'm gonna wait to try that one out for awhile

My natural weight is like 185. Your natural is prolly 155 or 170ish.
