That's too bad.
You think there would be a lot of people eating that shit up just to watch some fights.
I wonder if they will try to black it out in that area.

lol @ that MISERABLE figure
if the average ticket price were 100 dollars - i don't think that would even cover FEDOR's salary. nevermind the fact they have 20-some other fighters to pay and the venue and all the other horseshit.
WAR the ufc REALLY having everybody after this show

I am sure they are probably overpaying Fedor at about 1.2 million to fight.

Sounds dubious to me, surely they've sold more than that.

PPl who are willing to spend that kind of money on MMA go with the UFC.
Affliction's business model sucks. THey think they're going to blow the lid off of MMA, they think that fighter's fans will buy their tickets and PPVs. They're imbeciles.
What they SHOULD do is hold 2 relatively cheap, free-to-air, bad-ass cards, one in LA and one on the East Coast, basically take a huge hit "salary-wise", but venue-wise it doesn't cost that much to hold a show
Then they'll have built a fanbase and word of mouth enough to start asking for ppl's money either in higher ticket prices or simply PPV.

Agreed, things are looking very bad for Affliction. Another thing that disturbs me is that we are only 2 weeks removed from this fight and there has been almost no advertising whatsoever. No TV commercials, website banners etc.
Really the only person I can think of pushing this fight is fucking Freddie Roach. Makes me worry, I hope this doesn't get canceled.

Where is the source on MMA Junkie ?
MMA Junkie haven't reported a single thing.
It's impossible to believe, if Banned could draw 14,000, then no way in hell DOR wouldn't draw as much after the clinic Fedor did.
There is nothing reliable at all about that link.
If I'm correct, that website belongs to someone who posts here.
