He was caught in a simple triangle choke, it's not a flaw in sambo, it's just a miscalculation by Fedor.
Sambo is actually more complex and more elaborate when exploring the triangle choke, as it has various escapes and counters to the basic submission.
Fedor hit Werdum on the chin, over-committed himself and was caught in a triangle choke...
Basic mistake, it sucks that his negotiations with Zuffa will become void because of this common mistake.
Oh well, on the bright statues his God aura is gone and his true fans can appreciate him for the beast he truly is, even without his undefeated aura.
I suspect that he will come back even better, as he has not trained as extensively in preparation for his last 2 fights.

2) Brock fought Frank Mir in his first fight in the UFC, one of their top heavyweights at that time, and he lost not after doing much damage to Mir's face
3) The FACT that brock has only just started MMA and is the UFC heavyweight champion proves how good he is ... Fedor has been in MMA for 10 years, and eventhough his fanboys say he's the best, he hasn't been relevant since Pride dissolved .. In fact the best fighters he won have already been exposed in the UFC, like Crocop and big Nog

How is Carwin, who was #3 Heavyweight in most rankings the same as Werdum who was #9 or 10? Even Mir was rated higher than Werdum.
All Fedor fanboys can say is that Lesnar lost to Mir in his 2nd MMA fight, but that is what their problem is. They love looking in the past, and never in the present. Plus they think he is the number 1 HW which is a huge joke.

Bullshit. Frank fought lesnar close to 2 years after his loss to Vera. He was coming off a win from Hardonk. His Pano fight was 2 fights before his loss to Vera. He was in the MMA game for wayy longer than Brock.
Brock doesn't choose his fights, Joe Silva does. Just because he got a title shot so early doesn't mean shit. He's defended it, and will continue to defend it. Shogun got a title shot after winning Mark Coleman in gay fashion and then a way past prime Chuck Liddell. Does that make him any less of a champion? No.
