It's pretty common knowledge that Arona should have been given the decision, the idea is to just bring it up when Fedor nuthuggers claim his official loss was bullshit.

They can't lay claim to a bullshit win and deny a bullshit loss. It's not easy to explain this to Fedor nuthuggers though, they are the reason I stopped going to MMAShare and stayed here. They want it all their own way. Lindland was a legit win, his official loss doesn't count, his bullshit win over Arona counts, he isn't ducking the UFC he just doesn't want to be controlled, despite being controlled by Finklestick, the top heavyweights in the world should take a pay cut to fight Fedor, as Fedor is the number 1 (allegedly).

Going for a submission shouldn't win you the fight, come on. There's some form of submission you can go for in pretty much every position imaginable in MMA. Just because you go for something and can't do it shouldn't earn you points. By that rational take downs that get stuffed should earn points as well.

After re reading what you posted I think you meant that the person who failed to accomplish the take down should get points if a failed sub gets you points.. I see where you're coming from, but going for a submission is a different kind of monster than going for a take down. You're not going to end a fight with a take down unless some weird fluke happens like when Frank Shamrock took that guy down and he got knocked out as soon as he hit the canvas.

Oh and for the record its not that Fedor does not want to be controlled, he probably just has no interest fighting for an organization run by a some classless people that have done nothing but insult him for better part of the last 5 years, Fedor is a proud family man, he has $$, he doesn't need to compromise his values or show his children that you can get into business with shit talking swine that insult you at every turn like Dana White & Co.

I thought FIAD was saying that take down defense shouldn't count in MMA period, we weren't even talking about the Arona/Fedor fight in rings at that moment so go eat a fat cock asshole.

Rings was owned by the Russians, Fedor is a russian... it doesn't take a genius to say who would win between a russian and a brazilian.

Arona fucking dominated him, but then they called it a draw, then Fedor won the tie breaker round.

having full mount is hardly effective grappling if there's no head strikes. but who cares? this fight was what, 10 years ago? fedor would still be the #1 heavyweight even if he lost that decision.
