K.J. Noons Ducking Diaz Fight On CBS? - MMA News
According to EliteXC vice president Jared Shaw, the promotion has tried to make the fight happen and wants it to happen as part of the Oct. 4 event, but to no avail.
“Nick Diaz is the No. 1 contender. K.J. Noons should step up and be the champion that we think he is and take this fight. Nick Diaz will take this fight any place, anywhere,” Shaw told MMAWeekly.com. “(Noons’ management) won’t even return our calls.
“I don’t understand it. This fight on CBS is maximum exposure and the opportunity for maximum sponsorship dollars, way more than he could make on Showtime. At this point, I question his management.”

LOL thanks GOMT. KJ is a bitch and I have been saying it all along. He gave everything he had to Diaz and couldnt finish him. It was a stupid cut that Diaz even said wasnt bothering him. Gomi broke Diaz's orbital bone and Diaz was still not close to being finished and ended up subbing Gomi. Noons knows eventually Diaz will get him down and sub him, or even catch him ala Lawler-Diaz.

Wow! The promotion is actually calling Noons out? That's the first time I've seen that happen. If there were ever any doubts that Noons was ducking Diaz, this certainly puts them to rest.

first of all I AM NOT A NOONS FAN/SUPPORTER...but noons put a beating on diaz, diaz couldnt do shit to him. I think that in a rematch diaz takes it but noons won that first fight fair and square. noons dominated him. go ahead and flame me now...

I don't like Noons as much as the next guy but he was really impressive against Yves Edwards. He took some hard punches and knocked Yves into the next week. The first fight was bullshit, anyone who has watched Nick Diaz fight knows he tends to start slow and pick it up as the fight goes along. Noons was dominating that fight but at no point was Diaz in serious trouble. Winning via cut doesn't mean shit. Ask TK about that.

WORD!!!! Winning by cut is NOT winning fair and square Diaz lost based on a doctors word not by him being finished or losing via decision so therefore it is kind of like a No contest instead but rules are rules and yeah Fedor would be undefeated if it wasn't for that stupid bullshit.

Honestly I haven't heard shit, and speaking of I actually haven't seen KJ around the downtown gym recently...maybe he's been kidnapped or something. Either way, this fight needs to happen not only for EliteXC, but for Nick who's deserving of it if you ask me, as well as KJ, who needs to prove the first fight wasn't a fluke.
