I don't think that's true- Hatton was always good, but never elite like Mayweather and Pacquio. Pacman would have smashed him just as badly if Hatton had lost to Floyd or not- and seeing how Pacman destroyed De la Hoya and Hatton in swift and dominating fashion, I think he would just about murder Mayweather, good as Mayweather is.
