Manny Pacman vs Ricky Hatton Open thread Discussion
Hey, it’s not mixed martial arts, but it is a great fight. And we know there are a ton of readers here interested in tonight’s highly publicized showdown.
So here’s a thread for those interested to discuss all the action and provide their thoughts and predictions on the Jr. Welterweight title fight between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton.
“Pacman” (48-3-2, 36 KOs) began his career 34 pounds below junior welterweight and is riding a wave of momentum after his destruction of Oscar De La Hoya five months ago. The Filipino’s eighth-round stoppage sent De La Hoya into retirement.
“Hitman” (45-1, 32 knockouts) has only one career defeat — that only came when he moved up seven pounds to challenge Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the welterweight crown in 2007.
Feel free to also discuss whatever MMA-related news and notes you have floating around in your grey matter. Since it’s an open thread, pretty much anything is fair game.
Just remember to keep the mud slinging to a minimum.

Yeah, one guy who KO's Hatton (Floyd) couldn't finish an old DLH (Mayweather)
The other (Manny) performs a second holocaust on the beforementioned Mexican and you say he doesn't have the power?

Hatton has a chance to win a Decision here if he can clinch up and muscle Pacman around and work the body shots, but i can't pick against Pac, so im going with Pacquiao by TKO (uppercuts).
